PLC Programmer

• Design, program, develop and implement PLC systems for machinery. • Modify, optimize, and maintain existing PLC programs to enhance efficiency and reliability. • Perform remote troubleshooting and resolve PLC-related issues to minimize downtime. • Ensure all systems comply with safety standards and cybersecurity requirements. • Document all programming changes and maintain proper version control. • Assist commissioning and construction of new machine. • Define, implement, and maintain global PLC standards. • Collaborate with suppliers, software teams, and AI teams to ensure seamless system integration. • Analyze machine data to detect faults, diagnose failures, and monitor overall machine performance.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in PLC programming as Automation, Industrial Engineer or similar role.
- Track record of deploying automation solutions (machines) in the field.
- Apply solution thinking (consider all aspects of the automation solution).
- As it has not been done before, apply agile work style to iterate quickly to get to solution.
- Work self-directed and solution oriented (we are a remote first company).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- B.Sc. in Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering or similar field.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- Willing and excited to travel up to 75% of total time.
- Very good English proficiency.
