Senior Networking Account Manager
Hewlett Packard Enterprise
• Create and manage your sales pipeline, identifying and developing leads. • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to support strategic account development and solution positioning. • Use domain expertise to uncover new business opportunities, grow existing accounts, and drive Networking related pursuits. • Maintain knowledge of competitive solution offerings, allowing you to strategically position the correct HPE Networking products and highlight HPE differentiators and advantages. • Analyze competitor activity within accounts and articulate our unique value proposition to clients. • Establish consultative relationships with clients—including C-level stakeholders—based on a deep understanding of their business needs and industry challenges. • Drive renewal and expansion activities for services contracts, particularly in mid-to-large complex accounts. • Coordinate supporting sales activities across internal teams and stakeholders. • Understand the HPE channel and create relationships with HPE partners, to increase sales via the channel (where appropriate).
Job Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of total IT sales experience with consistent quota over-achievement, selling in addition to a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. We need storytellers and those who can simplify the complex for economic buyers and executives.
- Executive selling skills are required.
- Good sales DNA and methodology.
- Strong presenter and closer with the ability to demonstrate the vital skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners, and customers using a Win/Win philosophy.
- High activity with a fast motor to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly evolving technical environment.
- Work well in a matrixed environment, working with various stakeholders across the business to drive the success of your named account list.
- Exude operational efficiency and forecast accuracy to run a best-in-class business.
- Provide timely and insightful input to other corporate functions, particularly engineering, product management, and marketing.
