Intuitive
• Manage Customer Technical Relations after the point of Sale on All Intuitive Surgical Products • Support all da Vinci® Surgical platforms • Analyze customer’s requirements to ensure effective system installation by providing Pre site Planning and Installation Coordination with the customer • Manage and schedule both planned and unplanned appointments with Customers • Assess and determine follow up visits to ensure maximum system reliability • Use discretion and independent judgment when assessing functionality and Repairing products • Assess customer-training needs with respect to technical training in an Operating Room environment • Independently manage all administrative duties of role
Job Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer required
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good administrative and record keeping skills
- Good knowledge of Operating Room protocol
- Track record of solid customer relationships with Surgeons and Hospital staff
- Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems
- An ability to travel up to 50%, dependent upon account distribution
- A college degree in applied science or engineering preferred; or equivalent training/experience which may include extensive course work or study in the field of engineering or applied science

This role reports into EDS, an Ellsworth Corporation company located in Sparks, NV. Open to on-site or remote work. The hiring team is open to candidates at the associate, career, or senior level, depending upon experience. Performs on-site preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, equipment modifications, and installations of equipment ranging from low to high complexity, serving both national and international customers. Maintains equipment documentation related to internal assembly, testing, setup, and troubleshooting. Delivers start-up services and customer training during installations. Responsibilities - Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, modifies, overhauls, or refurbishes standard equipment and system components at customer locations. Sr. level candidates will also handle special purpose equipment. - Provides after-sales technical support and machine maintenance training to customers. - Completes documentation related to machine issues, repairs, and/or installations to support timely billing. - Communicates with customers to schedule installations, repairs, and/or preventive maintenance work, and provides estimated arrival times for unscheduled service requests. - Responds to routine customer and sales inquiries regarding equipment operation and performance.
