Senior Licensing Manager
Rackspace Technology
• Monitor and manage software license compliance across multiple vendors (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Adobe, Citrix). • Ensure alignment with contractual terms and internal usage policies. • Coordinate internal audits and support vendor audits with accurate license data. • Track license entitlements, deployments, and usage throughout the software lifecycle. • Maintain up-to-date records in software asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow). • Work with IT operations to identify underused or overutilized assets for optimization. • Support license procurement and renewal processes in collaboration with procurement and legal teams. • Interpret complex license agreements and advise on best practices for use. • Liaise with vendors and resellers for quotes, renewals, true-ups, and support escalations. • Prepare usage reports, license position summaries, and compliance dashboards. • Recommend cost-saving opportunities by identifying redundant or unused licenses. • Support internal chargeback processes for license usage reporting. • Contribute to the refinement and automation of software license tracking processes. • Assist in developing standard operating procedures and knowledge base documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in software license management or software asset management (SAM).
- Strong knowledge of license models (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Oracle, Adobe).
- Familiarity with software asset management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Snow, Flexera).
- Understanding of ITIL practices and software lifecycle concepts.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including strong command over formulas, logic, and data analysis.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and prepare reports.
- Good negotiation and communication skills for working with vendors and stakeholders.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as Microsoft SAM, ITIL Foundation, ISO 19770, or CSAM (Certified Software Asset Manager).
- Experience with cloud licensing models (e.g., Office 365, Azure, AWS).
- Exposure to compliance audits and true-up processes.

• Responsible for maintaining a rolling forecast by SKU for the assigned Accounts owning the demand plan. • Act as owner and subject matter expert for Blue Ridge Demand Planning and Forecasting. • Act as subject matter expert for demand planning processes in Blue Ridge Demand Planning, including standard work, documentation and enhancements. • Scope, design and implement updates to Blue Ridge Demand Planning design as business and supply chain footprint evolve. • Partner with Account Leads within each Sales Channel to understand product demands (promotions, marketing events, historical sales, door changes, etc.). • Provide trends, forecast misses and other intelligence to help inform Account Leads within each Sales Channel during Monthly Demand Review. • Support new product launches and account initiatives by analyzing budget/sales inputs and providing Demand Planning recommendation. • Support Supply Planning and Distribution with forecasts to drive production, distribution requirements and capacity analysis.
• Ensuring clinical trial sites operate efficiently, meet timelines, budget, and quality expectations through remote oversight of clinical sites. • Working closely with Regional Site Directors and other Research Operations leaders. • Ensures the execution of clinical trial activities in compliance with all applicable regulations. • Provides close and continued communication with site employees, provides training and mentoring to enhance performance and adherence to best practices. • Ensure engagement of the team. • Close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including site-level leadership, to drive successful clinical trial execution, develop site staff, and position sites for study awards. • Responsibilities include site onboarding, maintaining site research readiness, coaching site staff, reviewing site metrics for decision-making, compiling and leading monthly business reviews, and ensuring quality oversight. • Key development areas include Adverse Event reporting, Motivational Interviewing, regulatory and compliance updates, and operational changes related to program quality monitoring. • Craft and execute a strategic approach that enhances site performance, drives business outcomes, and supports the success of Site Operations across their region.
