Quality Engineer

EverCommerce

• Champion quality processes throughout our software development lifecycle (SDLC) • Coach product management, software engineers and others on the best approaches to ensure quality • Help build and maintain automated test suites • Influence the testing lifecycle of our product and upskill the entire team

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or Software Engineer in Test, working closely with development teams
  • Demonstrated ability to shift quality left by influencing design and development practices
  • Hands-on experience with Unit testing, Integration testing, End-to-end automated testing
  • Ability to work with engineers to write, review, and improve tests
  • Strong understanding of the test pyramid and when to apply each test type
  • Experience identifying and mitigating quality risk in complex systems
  • Clear, confident communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Nice to Have: Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
  • Familiarity with test data management and test environments
  • Experience reducing flaky tests and improving pipeline reliability
