Editorial Operations Specialist

• Responsible for the day-to-day execution of transcript production tasks, ensuring transcripts are accurate, consistent, and delivered on time. • Collaborate closely with content, proofreading, and production teams to maintain high quality standards and support reliable, on-time delivery. • Support the transcript production pipeline by tracking progress, meeting deadlines, and flagging issues to the Team Lead or Production Manager as needed. • Identify and correct issues related to formatting, speaker identification, and context. • Communicate regularly with content, proofreading, and production teams to keep workflows aligned, resolve routine issues, and escalate risks or blockers to the Team Lead or Production Manager.
Job Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in an editorial, content operations, or production environment, with hands-on responsibility for editing, proofreading, or quality control
- Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and consistency across high-volume content.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally to meet deadlines and resolve issues
- Comfort learning and working within internal tools, content management systems, or production workflows
- Ability to manage recurring responsibilities, prioritize tasks, and adapt quickly in a deadline-driven environment
- Familiarity with current events, particularly U.S. politics or congressional proceedings, or a strong interest in developing subject-matter expertise in this area
- The drive to self-motivate, self-direct, be flexible, proactively anticipate problems and address them with solutions within a fast-paced environment
