Industry Development Manager

Responsibilities: - Identify and develop new industries, application, and growth opportunities in rubber and composites. - Lead new product commercialization by defining use cases, presenting technologies, and aligning with sales/marketing. - Oversee trade shows and industry events, ensuring strong technical representation and accurate marketing content. - Collaborate cross functionally to ensure consistent technical messaging and support across all markets. - Support product line simplification initiatives and clearly communicate strategy changes to distribution and sales. - Build and maintain key industry, supplier, and distributor relationships to advance development initiatives. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical disciplines will be considered. - 5+ years of experience in rubber, composites, polymers, or related materials industries. - Strong distributor experience, either working for a distributor or in a role that extensively supports and partners with distribution. - Experience working with application engineering, sales teams, and channel partners. - Strong ability to translate technical information into clear, actionable market and application guidance. - Proven experience supporting new product introductions and market development. - Strong communication, presentation, and training skills - Willingness to travel extensively (up to and occasionally exceeding 50%) across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Pour assurer cet enjeu majeur du mandat, l’exécutif souhaite que les politiques publiques métropolitaines s’engagent dans une dynamique transversale coordonnée, concertée, innovante et s’appuyant sur le champ de l’expérimentation. - Concevoir et mettre en œuvre la politique à court, moyen et long terme visant à impulser une dynamique coordonnée des politiques publiques rattachées à votre direction : emploi, insertion des jeunes, politique de la ville, lutte contre les discriminations, lutte contre la pauvreté, santé, vie étudiante, fonds solidarité logement, crématorium. - Soumettre des solutions concrètes pour optimiser les processus et piloter les projets, actions et dispositifs en lien avec les élus référents, les communes, les partenaires publics et associatifs. - Mettre en transversalité les ressources internes et encadrer les cadres placés sous votre autorité directe. - Superviser les projets de la direction, contrôler et évaluer les actions et dispositifs mis en projet (indicateurs et reporting) et piloter les budgets associés. - Assurer une veille des dispositifs nationaux et instruire, avec vos collaborateurs, les appels à projets. - Être force de proposition dans les champs de l’innovation et de l’expérimentation. - Rédiger des notes à destination des élus référents et du Président.
