Field Service Technician, Chromatography

• Provide 1st-level support for the assigned product line and carry out long-term, schedulable on-site assignments within your region with regular travel. • Perform installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks. • Diagnose technical issues and determine appropriate solutions. • Prepare detailed service reports and ensure processes are documented promptly and accurately. • Follow all company procedures and protocols. • Work closely with the service team and ensure effective information sharing across the company. • On site with customers, understand their requirements and provide appropriate recommendations/briefings. • Build positive relationships with customers to support successful collaboration.

Job Requirements

  • Successfully completed technical apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d).
  • Several years of experience in field service and a confident customer-facing manner.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, testing, repair, and maintenance of technical equipment.
  • Willingness to work flexibly and adapt to changing working hours.
  • Strong customer orientation and proven ability to work in a team.
  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, are required.
  • Willingness to travel within the DACH region and to be on-site with customers for periods of 4–5 days per week.
