Key Account Manager

• Develop and execute a comprehensive account strategy tailored to Home Depot’s business model and objectives. • Align internal resources to support long-term growth and profitability within the account. • Drive incremental sales through effective product placement, promotional programs, and pricing strategies. • Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify opportunities and mitigate risks. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at Home Depot. • Act as the primary liaison between the customer and internal teams to ensure seamless communication. • Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to develop impactful promotional campaigns. • Ensure timely execution of promotions and evaluate post-promotion performance. • Work closely with supply chain teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and avoid stockouts. • Forecast demand accurately to support Home Depot’s replenishment requirements. • Utilize data analytics to track performance metrics, identify trends, and inform decision-making. • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and the customer. • Ensure adherence to Home Depot’s compliance standards, operational guidelines, and vendor requirements. • Proactively address any operational issues to maintain service excellence. • Manage and optimize participation in Home Depot vendor programs, ensuring compliance and maximizing benefits. • Identify opportunities within Home Depot’s systems and processes to improve efficiency and enhance account performance. • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation. • Share insights with internal stakeholders to inform product and pricing strategies. • Manage account budgets, including trade spend and promotional investment. • Track ROI on all initiatives to ensure financial targets are met.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in key account management, preferably in retail or consumer goods.
- Proven track record of managing large retail accounts, ideally Home Depot or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision making.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship building abilities.
- Deep understanding of big box retail operations, merchandising, and promotional planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with retail analytics tools.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing a sales target and budget.

• Own revenue outcomes across your book of business, with accountability for both renewals and expansion ACV. • Actively prospect within accounts to identify, qualify, and close expansion opportunities, including additional licenses, new products, and broader use cases. • Build and maintain a healthy expansion pipeline, engaging customers well ahead of renewal cycles to create upsell and cross-sell opportunities. • Lead renewal negotiations, driving urgency, value alignment, and on-time renewals while minimizing churn and contraction. • Develop and execute account plans that outline growth strategy, stakeholder mapping, whitespace opportunities, and renewal timing. • Build relationships beyond day-to-day users to include economic buyers and influencers, positioning Bitsight as a strategic partner. • Conduct regular customer conversations focused on value realization, outcomes, and future needs, not just product usage. • Partner with Customer Success and other internal teams to support adoption, remove blockers, and align expansion motions to customer outcomes. • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and CRM documentation to support predictable revenue delivery.
