Data Analyst Intern
Zoomph
• Assess complex data systems and programs in support of ad-hoc and standing management and customer requests. • Create programs, methodologies and files for analyzing and presenting data. • Leverage Zoomph to quantify social media KPIs across social channels, sports leagues, & content properties. • Identify and interpret social media data trends ranging from the post level to campaigns and content series. • Analyze results and communicate insights to internal and external stakeholders. • Recommend, prioritize, and develop client and sponsor industry benchmarks across social channels. • Collaborate with account management colleagues to recommend social media content strategies that will assist platform clients in maximizing content to drive partnership value and attract new sponsors. • Examine data quality, applications and functions. • Contribute to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentation. • Use and support database applications and analytical tools. • Use timely and appropriate participation of users/customers in data collection and query systems. • Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in the areas of marketing, communication, digital strategies and data analytics, whether through work experience or class projects
- Well versed in both technical knowledge and strategic thinking
- Strong business, data and statistical acumen
- Passion for and baseline knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry.
- Development of appropriate methodologies for collecting, analyzing and presenting data products
- Facilitate satisfactory communication and resolution of problems
- Point out system or process problems when noticed and engages the team in problem solving
- Ability to interpret data trends and patterns as they relate to the organization
- Design databases and data systems.
