Paxos

• Design and implement secure, scalable features for the Paxos Dashboard, focusing on user authentication, RBAC, and governance flows • Build and maintain API services that power critical dashboard functionality using languages like Golang, Java, Python, or Kotlin • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless integration between front-end interfaces and backend services • Create and maintain shared libraries and components that ensure consistency across Paxos services • Implement robust monitoring and observability solutions using tools like Datadog • Drive technical decisions and architectural improvements that enhance platform reliability and security • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members

• Define and execute a long-term, global communications strategy that integrates executive, corporate, policy, internal, and product narratives into a coherent story for Paxos. • Lead media and press relations, including proactive storytelling and responsive reputation management, to return Paxos to a strong presence in key financial and crypto outlets. • Own company-wide internal and executive communications in partnership with existing internal comms and marketing, especially around high-stakes, regulated topics and major company milestones. • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the CEO & the executive team, shaping narratives, recommendations, and decision-ready options on communications strategy and execution. • Use AI tools and systems to increase leverage in content development, research, and measurement. • Direct and coordinate external agencies, advisors, and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality, on-message communications across regions and time zones.

• Own the close and financial statements. Drive the monthly, quarterly and annual close end-to-end for all Paxos entities. • Set and defend accounting policy. Lead technical accounting research for new products, transactions and structures. • Own financial audit and controls. Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors. • Be a financial architecture partner for the business. Work with Product and Engineering at the design phase of new products. • Shape quote-to-cash and revenue recognition. Partner with commercial and legal teams to design scalable quote‑to‑cash processes. • Build the team and infrastructure. Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals.

• Design, develop, and maintain mission-critical issuance systems that support tokenized assets across multiple blockchains. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, compliance, and infrastructure to define system architecture and technical requirements. • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our issuance services through best practices in software design, testing, and deployment. • Optimize existing issuance infrastructure to enhance performance, reduce latency, and improve operational efficiency. • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. • Stay informed about emerging trends in blockchain, distributed systems, and financial technology to drive innovation within the team. • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making processes.

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade crypto brokerage systems that are scalable, secure, and reliable. • Own end-to-end feature development, from architecture and implementation through testing and deployment. • Optimize performance and operational efficiency of existing systems through thoughtful engineering and refactoring. • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Growth, and Infrastructure to deliver features aligned with customer needs and business goals. • Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and system design sessions to help shape the direction of the Brokerage platform. • Stay up-to-date with developments in crypto infrastructure, distributed systems, and financial technology to drive innovation on the team. • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

• Oversee implementation of all operational objectives of the Compliance program, including transaction monitoring and investigations, client onboarding and customer due diligence, SAR writing, sanctions screening, etc. • Scale the compliance operations team to support business growth in line with sustainable risk management and compliance support • Manage and develop key metrics to determine the health of the compliance program • Oversee end-to-end investigations on a range of cases triggered from KYC/CDD, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring and blockchain analytics. • Use transactional and other data to identify trends and patterns associated with financial crime risks. • Effectively manage with business, operational teams and law enforcement throughout the client customer lifecycle to detect and mitigate financial crime risks.

• You will execute all objectives of the Compliance Operations program, including client onboarding and customer due diligence, sanctions screening, vendor management, training, etc. • You will effectively coordinate with business and operational teams through key approval processes to provide an optimal customer experience while maintaining our regulatory obligations with regards to customer identification. • You will actively partner with global functional teams to execute shared compliance-specific projects and responsibilities. • Immerse yourself in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency for enterprises and investors, and our regulation-first approach

• Define and implement technical strategy for Experience surfaces spanning institutional onboarding, identity and screening, dashboards, approvals, and developer APIs. • Architect core reusable services and patterns for workflows such as KYC/KYB, onboarding flows, dormancy and identity controls, maker‑checker approvals, notifications, and reporting, ensuring scalability, auditability, and regulatory compliance. • Lead cross‑team projects that improve performance, observability, security, and reliability for onboarding and dashboard flows. • Collaborate closely with staff engineers, tech leads, Product, Compliance, Finance, Data, and Operations to prioritize and sequence work that unlocks business‑line goals. • Mentor engineers across both teams, helping them grow in system design, execution, and ownership, and raising the technical bar for Experience as a whole.

• Own and run defined EU compliance operations workstreams for PIE • Provide second‑line oversight of AML/CFT operations executed by global Compliance Operations • Lead the preparation, coordination and quality‑control of selected regulatory reports • Take primary ownership of one or more CASP‑ or MiCA‑related documentation domains • Conduct and synthesize legal and regulatory research • Help draft, update and localize internal policies, procedures and manuals • Take structured notes and track actions from regulatory meetings • Support regulatory change management by monitoring relevant EU/EEA and Finnish developments • Act as a senior coordination point for EU‑related regulatory and compliance workstreams
