Job Description

Scrum Master

Granicus

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies across multiple Scrum teams • Ensure teams follow Agile principles, 2-week Scrum cycles, and Kanban practices • Act as a servant leader and coach to guide teams in Agile practices • Remove impediments and act as a buffer for teams • Support Product Owners with backlog refinement and sprint planning • Track team metrics and performance using Jira • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through effective retrospectives • Coordinate dependencies and cross-team collaboration • Promote Agile values and help align stakeholders to shared goals • Drive team autonomy and accountability

Job Requirements

  • 8–12 years of total industry experience
  • Minimum of 5 years as a dedicated Scrum Master
  • Proven experience managing 2 or more Scrum teams simultaneously
  • Solid understanding of Agile frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with Kanban
  • Experience working in 2-week sprint cycles
  • Expertise in Jira
  • Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and coaching skills
  • Ability to work effectively with distributed or cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with Agile scaling methods
