• Possesses a solid understanding of how agile and waterfall frameworks work to deliver business value and how various practices can and should evolve. • Cultivates customer focus as the team collaborates to deliver solutions achieving the desired business outcome. • Helps teams self-organize and self-manage using collaborative engagement techniques. • Acts as a coach who works within the team to maximize the value created. • Responsible for the planning and facilitation of standard meetings to include; backlog preparation, iteration planning, retrospectives, iteration reviews and daily stand-ups. • Facilitates the sizing of stories during the planning sprint, backlog grooming, or sprint planning sessions for the team. • Utilizes the team “definition of done” to guide the team during their sprint commitments. • Leverages defined metrics to enable continuous delivery, provide transparency and to optimize the value of iterative and incremental development. • Effectively facilitates retrospectives to pull actionable changes for the team. • Works with the product owner and stakeholders to determine staffing requirements. • Removes impediments, and makes issues and problems visible. Escalates as necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-7 years of Scrum Master experience
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM or related certification strongly preferred)
  • SAFe Agile experience recommended
  • 3+ years of information technology experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Systems or Engineering; or equivalent work experience
