Marine Sales Engineer
Trimble Inc.
• Work with and provide technical sales expertise for the Marine Construction industry in the EMEA region • Interface with Sales Engineers and Sales Managers • Evaluate dealer competency levels and train personnel • Provide presale configuration assistance and respond to dealer queries • Perform field job site systems installation, training and demonstration • Support Trimble or dealer sponsored events • Assist Product Managers in product updates and training requirements • Participate in new product releases and beta cycles
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in Marine Construction, surveying/hidrography and/or machine control or other relevant industries
- Exposition to advanced technology
- Sales experience in the Marine Construction environment or any other relevant industry
- Familiar with dredging, land reclamation, hydrography or any other marine construction activity
- Fluent English speaking is a must
- A Bachelor's Degree in Marine, Hydrography, Survey or Civil Engineering is preferred or equivalent experience.

As a Sales Engineer, you will lead the technical discussion with potential customers, understand their security and business needs, provide professional guidance and work to solve complex security problems. Your responsibilities will range from conducting in-person and remote product demonstrations, articulating Silverfort’s innovative technology, providing professional advice and ensuring successful POCs in a variety of environments. • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support. • Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs. • Confer with customers and engineers to assess requirements for the project needs and ensure contract compliance. • Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain capabilities to customers and prospective customers. • Create sales or service contracts for company capabilities. • Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions. • Work with estimating and design team for each of the project requirements. • Develop strong relationships with customers through site visits, management presentations, events to build loyalty and to demonstrate the company’s value proposition. • Prospecting for new customer, Research and identify potential customers for project opportunities. • Share sales-related or market information with colleagues. • Discuss design or technical features of products or services with technical personnel. • Gather customer or product information to determine customer needs. • Deliver promotional presentations to current or prospective customers. • Develop content for sales presentations or other materials. • Explain technical product or service information to customers. • Contact current or potential customers to promote products or services. • Prepare sales or other contracts. • Arrange delivery of goods or services.
• Support sales teams by designing and architecting tailored IT solutions • Build and maintain technical relationships with OEM partners • Develop and manage lab and demonstration environments • Deliver customer presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements • Assist with RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, solution documentation, and architectural diagrams • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management teams on solution delivery • Provide technical expertise during customer engagements and deployments • Identify opportunities to expand services and add customer value • Maintain relevant certifications aligned with strategic technologies • Contribute to marketing efforts such as blogs, white papers, and technical content • Travel up to 20% for customer and internal engagements
• Evaluate and develop Network business opportunities in collaboration with the assigned territory Sales team • Act as a subject matter expert, engage customers, present viable technical solutions, and articulate the value to customers. • Support product demonstrations, lab evaluations and network trials. • Establish broad contacts both internally and externally, leverage these contacts to significantly grow the regional business within assigned territory. • Identify customer requirements and communicate to internal pricing teams • Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, and services. • Provide pre-sales and post sales Engineering support • Travel: Up to 50% overnight travel to meet with customers, strategize with account leaders and represent Nokia at events.
