Engineering Lead – Digital Assets, AI

• Align and coordinate technical leads across roles and ensure architectural consistency across projects • Define and enforce engineering standards and own technological choices and selection of tooling for the practice. • Ensure consistent use of AI frameworks, orchestration layers, and integration patterns • Set standards for designing and implementing Agentic AI systems • Establish AI governance (traceability, explainability, compliance, monitoring) • Validate smart contract and distributed system architecture decisions • Ensure DevSecOps alignment in regulated environments • Partner with Product and Delivery leads to ensure realistic engineering planning • Identify technical risks early and drive mitigation strategies • Define and track engineering KPIs and promote automation and AI-assisted engineering productivity • Develop structured improvement initiatives and foster a culture of technical excellence and ownership.
Job Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Capability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering
- 3–5+ years of experience in senior technical leadership roles
- Strong experience with cloud-native architectures (Azure/AWS/GCP)
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices
- Strong DevSecOps knowledge
- Experience designing scalable production systems
- Experience with blockchain platforms (enterprise or public)
- Understanding of smart contracts and distributed ledger concepts
- Familiarity with secure transaction systems and regulated environments
- Knowledge about DeFi concepts.
- Experience integrating AI with external APIs, smart contracts, or transactional systems
- Experience with LLM architectures, agent-based and multi-agent systems, AI observability, governance, and MLOps/model lifecycle management.
- Deep experience with CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Skilled in observability, monitoring, and system performance tools
- Strong knowledge of quality tooling and testing frameworks.
- Knowledge about Canton and EVM-based chains
- Knowledge of tokenization, custody, or digital asset lifecycle.
