Field Service Engineer, GCMS

• Provide on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of GCMS systems, including hardware, software, networking products, and operating systems • Install, configure, optimize, and troubleshoot integrated solutions (hardware, software, peripherals, communications, and applications) to ensure optimal performance • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and proactively address potential equipment or software problems to minimize customer downtime • Deliver fully integrated solutions (non-design role) and ensure high customer satisfaction through technical guidance and support • Act as a technical resource internally, manage product escalations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D) to resolve customer issues • Comply with all customer/vendor credentialing, identification, certification, and health and safety requirements to access customer sites

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Biochemical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
  • Early-career professional or postgraduate, eager to build a career in field service and customer-facing technical support
  • Fluent in both German and English, with strong communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Flexible and willing to travel (up to 35%), including overnight stays, to support customers on-site
