Mobile Building Engineer – HVAC
AB Facility Service
• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of commercial building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and mechanical systems • Support preventative maintenance programs and ensure timely completion of work orders • Troubleshoot and resolve building system issues and equipment failures • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and building management as needed • Assist with supervising engineering staff and providing technical guidance • Monitor building performance and recommend operational improvements • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation • Support emergency response activities and after-hours situations when required • Assist with budgeting, inventory management, and procurement of materials and equipment
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial building engineering or facilities maintenance
- Experience in a multi-building commercial environment preferred
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Valid engineering licenses/certifications preferred (Blue on Blue strongly preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
