Legal Counsel, Southern Europe – French

Dexcom

• Play a vital role in the development of Dexcom France and other Dexcom countries in the Southern Cluster, such as Spain and Italy. • Work closely with Dexcom's commercial team in France as a legal touch point and business partner. • Drafting and reviewing all types of commercial agreements, ensuring contractual alignment. • Provide specialist advice on matters of local French and EU healthcare and medical devices laws. • Review and approve advertising, promotional, and educational materials ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Job Requirements

  • French qualified lawyer with active practicing certificate or bar admission in France.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing legal advice, negotiating contracts, and closing business transactions in a highly regulated environment.
  • Very good understanding of laws and regulations governing healthcare and medical devices in France and the EU.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French (other EMEA languages are a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills.

The opportunity: As Senior Counsel – Intellectual Property (IP), you will provide a broad range of IP related guidance and legal support to the firm’s business teams in connection with protecting firm assets, developing new products and services, and negotiating contracts (particularly license agreements) with clients, suppliers and other third parties.
