HCM & Global Payroll Consultant
Remote
• Own end-to-end project delivery for enterprise level Global Payroll & HCM implementations, including services and integrations. • Define and manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables for complex, multi-country and multi-product implementations. • Partner with clients to gather and analyze their needs and requirements and develop and maintain comprehensive project plans with defined milestones and success criteria. • Apply formal project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) to ensure structured delivery. • Coordinate across technical implementers, CSMs, payroll operations, vendors, and customers • Provide guidance and training to customer teams on HCM & Global Payroll functionalities, best practices, and system usage. • Develop and deliver customized client documentation, training materials, and user guides to support client teams in system adoption and usage. • Establish clear communication cadence and escalation paths with customers. • Manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications proactively. • Drive accountability and clear ownership across all workstreams and team members. • Define scope of implementation and scope of services to be delivered upfront. • Implement change management processes to handle scope adjustments professionally. • Manage implementations involving multiple services: integrations, custom GLs, reporting, and multiple Remote products. • Conduct regular status meetings and provide executive-level reporting to customers and internal stakeholders. • Identify and mitigate project risks before they become escalations. • Ensure realistic project timelines with proactive dependency management. • Facilitate handover process from implementation to ongoing BAU supporting teams. • Drive customer satisfaction (CSAT) improvement during the implementation phase. • Effectively communicate with customers, teammates, supervisors and vendors in a timely and transparent fashion. • Establish and maintain positive customer working relationships at the executive level, successfully contributing to high customer retention rates. • Provide professional project governance aligned with enterprise customer expectations. • Document implementation processes and best practices for continuous improvement. • Maintain confidentiality of all customer and company information. • Help in the creation and maintenance of project management documentation and templates. • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to provide feedback on implementation challenges. • Support clients in change management activities, including user communication, stakeholder engagement, and post-implementation support.
Job Requirements
- Project management experience in B2B SaaS implementations
- Deep knowledge & experience with Enterprise Payroll, HRIS, or HCM implementations preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage technical projects and translate client requirements into product solutions.
- PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification preferred, but not required
- Expertise in formal project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Proven track record managing multi-country, multi-product implementations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical implementers, CSMs, Product, Engineers, Vendors, and various Customer stakeholders
- Experience managing complex implementations involving multiple products (Global Payroll, PEO, HRIS, EOR, CM)
- Excellent scope management and change control capabilities
- Strong risk and dependency management skills
- Ability to drive accountability and clear ownership across all workstreams
- Experience with enterprise customer expectations and governance models
- An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact
- Team player with the ability to work independently, autonomously and take ownership and responsibility of complex projects
- A Customer-Care oriented mindset and ability to build strong client relationships at the executive level
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive-level reporting and presentations
- Proficient in project management tools (Monday.com experience preferred)
- Ability to work within a MacBook Pro environment
- You understand the need and idea to work largely asynchronously
- You write and speak fluent English
- Not required but is considered a plus if you have working knowledge of: Notion, Slack, Zendesk, Monday.com and Salesforce
