SAP PI/PO Development Lead – Full Remote

HumanIT Digital Consulting

• You'll lead the technical architecture and implementation of a major SAP PI/PO upgrade project, working within an agile DevOps framework based on Scrum and ITIL principles • Your responsibilities span analyzing business requirements, designing the future-state architecture, implementing solutions using the latest S/4 HANA technology stack, and providing 3rd level support to ensure seamless ongoing operations • Daily communication with key stakeholders including business leaders, product owners, architects, and senior management will be essential • You'll be a crucial member of a distributed project team across Germany, bringing technical leadership and a results-driven mindset to every challenge

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on experience with SAP PI/PO development based on S/4 HANA as a technical lead
  • Excellent skills in SAP Process Orchestration and Integration Suite, covering both build and run areas: SOAP/REST/RFC/JMS/JDBC adapters
  • Message Mappings, XSLT Mappings, JAVA Mappings
  • JAVA Adapter developments
  • SAP PI/PO administration and monitoring
  • Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture
  • Basic skills in ABAP development: ABAP-OO, ABAP XI-Proxy technologies, ODATA Gateway services, RESTful ABAP Programming Model, SAP transportation model
  • Strong grasp of integration technologies: OpenAPI 3.0/Swagger, HTTP protocol, REST/SOAP, SSL, VPN
  • Proven ability to work within agile DevOps environments using Scrum and ITIL frameworks
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English (B2 Upper Intermediate minimum)
  • Strong customer and service orientation with a can-do mentality
  • Results-focused mindset with commitment to quality and deliverables
  • Ability to provide 3rd level support and troubleshooting

Qualifications - Minimum High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required; Associate Degree preferred. - Minimum 4+ years of experience working as an Administrative support professional required. - Prior work experience in the A/E/C industry preferred. - CSI Certification is preferred. - Strong (and proactive) verbal and written communication skills. - Strong organizational skills. - Ability to adapt and be flexible to fast-paced changes. - Ability to manage your own time. - Detail oriented and ability to check your own work and the work of others. - Ability to work independently and with a team. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam required. Compensation and Benefits The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $22.00 to $27.65 an hour.
