Key Account Manager
Fisher & Paykel Appliances
• Manage and grow relationships with key dealers in the South Central territory • Be the brand ambassador and product expert for Fisher & Paykel and DCS full suite of products • Achieve sales targets within the assigned territory • Train sellers within dealer partners on positioning and sales of products to end consumers • Deliver marketing and communication support to top dealer accounts • Collaborate with sales management team to develop sales strategies • Monitor competitor activity and formulate response strategies • Help achieve strategic objectives, including achieving budgeted sales
Job Requirements
- Three - Five years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role – preferably in luxury premium appliances
- Undergraduate degree or related experience
- Background in design is highly desirable

• Become the go-to expert on your category, including seller/buyer dynamics, community channels, influencers, and product nuances • Become the face of Whatnot for the community of sellers and buyers that you represent • Source and reach out to sellers to convince them to join and grow their business on Whatnot. Leverage social media, outbound channels, and in-person events • Partner with top sellers and strategic partners to build big businesses on Whatnot • Build and execute seller growth plans to unlock category growth • Spearhead diverse marketing initiatives, such as influencer partnerships, to boost brand awareness and attract more buyers • Use basic data analytics skills (SQL) to derive insights from projects and enhance process efficiency
• Get deep into the Tapcart product, fast – and use that fluency to guide partners toward the right messaging, skills development, and service opportunities. • Prescribe, not react – giving partners a clear, strategic path to success based on what’s in demand and what’s working across the ecosystem. • Multi-thread within each agency – building relationships with leadership, sales, delivery, and marketing to drive full-funnel partner engagement. • Collaborate with partners on how to monetize services built around Tapcart, including implementation, retention strategy, and mobile app best practices. • Drive thoughtful, well-planned execution — including account mapping, co-selling motions, GTM campaigns, and partner-led activations.
• Own revenue, margin, and overall account performance across in-store and retailer.com channels. • Develop and execute annual and quarterly Joint Business Plans (JBPs). • Identify growth opportunities and drive execution across distribution expansion, assortment optimization, merchandising, and promotional programs. • Track and manage KPIs including sales, margin, POS/sell-through, distribution, and inventory. • Lead day-to-day retailer relationships, including buyers and category management. • Negotiate and secure outcomes in distribution, shelf placement, and promotional support. • Drive alignment across internal partners including Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
