Futurae Technologies AG

• Ensure the security of platforms and products by implementing best practices and conducting assessments. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security in the software development lifecycle (SDLC). • Define security best practices and conduct deep-dive security assessments. • Build innovative, AI-driven solutions to enhance product security posture against threats. • Lead incident response and remediation efforts in case of any breaches. • Stay updated on security trends, emerging exploits, and maintain a "threat-first" mindset.

Job Requirements

  • Lead deep-dive security reviews of system designs and source code. You won’t just find flaws; you will design secure protocols and resilient architectures from the ground up.
  • Proactively hunt for weaknesses using Static Analysis (SAST), Reverse Engineering, and custom-built fuzzers. You will research and reproduce vulnerabilities to ensure our defenses are battle-tested.
  • Develop and scale secure operational practices, providing hands-on guidance to engineering teams to ensure state-of-the-art security is baked into every stage of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Design and execute automated security tests and fuzzing campaigns to identify edge-case logic flaws in our authentication and payment flows.
  • Vigilantly monitor security events to detect anomalies. In the event of a breach, you will lead the technical incident response and remediation efforts to protect our customers and assets.
  • Maintain a "threat-first" mindset by staying at the forefront of security trends, emerging exploits, and AI-driven attack vectors, ensuring our tech stack remains ahead of the curve.
  • Qualifications**
  • Extensive experience performing security assessments, deep-dive design reviews, and threat modelling (e.g., STRIDE) for complex distributed systems.
  • Several years of experience with security engineering, DevSecOps, computer and network security, PKI and security protocols.
  • Strong software engineering background with professional proficiency in at least one general-purpose language (e.g., Go, Python, Java, or C++) to build tools and audit code.
  • A sophisticated understanding of modern encryption standards, security principles, and the ability to champion secure coding practices across engineering teams.
  • Fluency in English with the ability to articulate complex security risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience in security research, vulnerability investigation, or incident response.
  • Familiarity with cloud security and securing cloud infrastructure (e.g., GCP, AWS).
  • Experience as an Ethical Hacker.
  • Experience with security compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, ISAE 3402/SOC).
  • Fluency in German or other languages.

Benefits

  • Work with purpose and take ownership in an international team
  • Grow with a company where your ideas matter
  • Freedom to work remotely or at our Zurich HQ
  • Join our yearly company-wide event
  • Keep learning with a yearly education budget
  • Joint co-working days for remote teammates
  • Don’t check every single box? Please apply anyway. We know from research that certain groups, like women and people part of minority, often hesitate to apply unless they meet 100% of the requirements. We are dedicated to building an inclusive workplace where diverse perspectives drive our innovation—and that starts with giving you the chance to show us who you are.
