Job Description

L3 SME – System Administration

Kyndryl

• Act as L3 escalation for complex OKTA incidents and service requests • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced MFA, SSO, and authentication issues • Support OKTA administration including policies, groups, and application configurations • Handle P1/P2 incidents and contribute to root cause analysis and problem management • Support OKTA agent deployments, upgrades, and maintenance (AD / LDAP agents) • Major Incident Management – IDAM Representation on MIM, P1 & P2 Calls • OKTA Platform Support 2nd Level – Day to day, policy activities, group updates. • Daily Incident Management 2nd & 3rd Level (2500 a month) • Release Management (New OKTA Agents as required) • Maintenance & Patching of OKTA AD agents and support for Kyndryl server staff. • Day to day Service Requests IP whitelisting Management • Management of CMDB x 2 OKTA Mastered List ( create direct in OKTA application) and Approvers List • Admin Access Management • Admin Access Attestation • Service Account Management • Service Account Attestation Management • OKTA Mastered Accounts and Approvers. • Hypercare Service for new criteria or upgrades • Assist with audit, compliance, and access review activities • Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation • Mentor and support L2 OKTA administrators

Job Requirements

  • 8–12 years of experience in IAM / Security / System Administration
  • 1-2 years of hands-on OKTA administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of OKTA MFA, SSO, authentication policies , and federation
  • Experience with SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, LDAP , and directory integrations
  • Familiarity with incident, change, and problem management processes
  • OKTA Certified Professional / Administrator
  • Security certifications – desirable
  • Automation experience.
  • OKTA Patch management
  • OKTA federation services

Role Description Under general supervision of the Virtual Loudoun Supervisor, provides an instructional program consistent with the goals and objectives of the School Division as we strive toward deeper learning. Implements an engaging and effective, personalized learning program through the Loudoun County Public School’s Learning Management System, utilizing high yield online learning strategies and digital content that is aligned to targeted instruction to meet individual student learning needs. Works with the program staff and community to maintain an atmosphere conducive to learning and appropriate student behavior in an online environment. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities - Participate in professional development activities and staff meetings, as required or assigned. - Implement professional development expectations and regularly use formative data (observations, student reflections, quick checks, digital content usage, etc.) and student academic data to monitor success and continuously improve personalized learning experiences for student success. - Continually assess, document, and share student achievement data with students to create goals and maintain appropriate assessment and evaluation documentation for institutional and individual reporting purposes. - Plan and implement appropriate online instructional and learning strategies and activities, including determination of right kind and level of materials, provide relevant learning experiences, manage allotted learning time to maximize student achievement, and utilize a variety of instructional materials and available multi-media and computer technology to enhance learning. - Manage the behavior of online learners in an instructional setting to ensure that the online environment is conducive to the learning process. - Collaborate and coordinate instructional activities with Virtual Loudoun Instructional Designer and members of their course CLT as required to maximize personalized learning opportunities for students. - Communicate with parents through email, phone conferences, and other means. Qualifications - Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure with appropriate endorsement(s). - Successful completion of LCPS’s Online Teacher Methodology Course or an equivalent. - Knowledge of content, curriculum, methods, materials, and equipment of instructional specialty to which assigned in online teaching. - Knowledge of pre-adolescent and adolescent growth and development. - Knowledge of Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) curriculum related to assignments and School Division mission, goals, and organization. - Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional programs. - Skill in the use of multi-media and computer technology to enhance learning. - Ability to plan and implement lessons based on Division and school objectives and the needs and abilities of students to whom assigned. - Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers, administrators, and parents. - Skill in oral and written communications. - Excellent human relations skills. Requirements - This position is eligible for remote work, but also may require in-person attendance at job-related meetings, training sessions, and conferences, as requested by the employee's supervisor. - Candidate must live within a commutable distance of Loudoun County Public Schools.
