Senior DevOps Engineer – Compute Test Division

• Collaborate with internal and customer development teams to enhance automation tools used in test engineering and software development • Configure, maintain, and monitor CI/CD pipeline automation within virtualization infrastructures • Contribute to DevOps libraries that support automation for our D4T product and internal DevSecOps processes • Engage with a variety of tools, data sources, and infrastructure technologies in support of new software projects • Assist in implementing security stages for our systems • Oversee the development and management of our Artifactory asset management system • Support and manage software build artifacts, including libraries, installers, Docker images, and NuGet packages • Develop and maintain our MLOps infrastructure for running ML/AI models and supporting data analytics pipelines • Set up and maintain Jenkins and Ansible servers • Collaborate with IT to address issues and create solutions, focusing on both on-premises and cloud-based services • Work directly with customers and their IT departments to implement DevOps for test infrastructure, which may include on-site services • Help design architecture requirements for customer collaboration, whether cloud-based or on-premises solutions are required • Participate in identifying future technology roadmaps and new business opportunities • Continuously invest in professional growth and stay current with modern technologies • Identify new possibilities for dashboards and data analytics enhancements

Job Requirements

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, BSECE, CompE or information technology
  • Proficient in Git, Jira, Artifactory, Ansible, Azure, VMWare, and Git hosting services such as GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket
  • Strong experience in Continuous Improvement and Development in building build automation and orchestration, particularly with Jenkins
  • Skilled in programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Linux Shell, SQL, MySQL, C#, and Java
  • Experience with development and deploying Docker containers
  • Experience with the ELK Stack for search and analytics
  • Solid understanding of both Windows and Linux system administration
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting abilities for connectivity, firewalls, network traffic, and performance issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to work remotely with minimal supervision

This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Repeatable Offerings Organization support our customer’s technology mission. This position is focused on providing technical leadership, strategic guidance and deep domain knowledge throughout the entire application lifecycle. We are looking for the right person to serve as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring that the customer applications are built to be aligned with the evolving government objectives. Primary Responsibilities. Mandatory Skills: - Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance (US Citizenship required) - Master's Degree with 15+ years of prior relevant experience.
