QA/QC Technical eCommerce Manager Location: Remote, US / Miami Reports to: Head of Engineering About Dose Dose is a functional wellness company offering innovative, clinically-backed supplements to consumers. A science-first approach, unique product design, and mission-orientation are just a few of the differentiating factors propelling Dose to be one of the fastest-growing companies in the health & wellness sector. Dose’s founder, Vasu Goyal, developed Dose while observing the gap between marketed promises and functional results. We’re committed to challenging the industry with products that actually work — and taste great. Role Overview We’re looking for a QA/QC Technical eCommerce Manager to own digital quality across Dose’s online ecosystem — from our Shopify Plus storefront to marketing surfaces and backend integrations. This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll build the QA program that safeguards conversion, data integrity, accessibility, and performance. You’ll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Growth, Lifecycle, Design, and CX to help Dose ship fast without breaking checkout, analytics, or the customer experience. You’ll be accountable for: - Zero critical conversion defects reaching production. - Analytics event accuracy and data integrity (≥ 99%). - Performance and accessibility SLAs (Core Web Vitals “Good” rates; WCAG 2.2 AA compliance). - Reliable, on-time releases with automated regression coverage. - Rapid incident detection, clear communication, and closed-loop corrective action. What You’ll Do Quality Systems & Release Management - Define and run the end-to-end QA lifecycle — requirements → test plans → automation → UAT → production verification. - Establish go/no-go criteria for every release and maintain a stable staging environment. - Own regression suites for storefront, checkout, account, subscription, and CMS flows. Test Engineering & Automation - Build and maintain automated tests (Playwright, Cypress) across critical paths and devices; integrate with CI/CD pipelines. - Create synthetic test data (users, orders, subscriptions) and mock external services as needed. Analytics, Tagging & Experiment QA - Govern the data layer spec and validate events across GA4, server-side tagging, and consent states. - Manage pixels and tags (Klaviyo, Braze, Meta, Google, RMNs) for accuracy and privacy compliance (CMP, TCPA, GDPR/CCPA). - QA A/B tests and feature flags (Eppo, Optimizely) for bucketing, exposures, and conversions. Content, Merchandising & SEO QA - Pre-flight new products, promotions, and campaigns for pricing, tax, shipping, and inventory accuracy. - Validate structured data, canonicalization, and sitemap health to maintain SEO integrity. Performance, Accessibility & Security - Monitor Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) and enforce Lighthouse and performance budgets. - Ensure WCAG 2.2 AA compliance (keyboard navigation, color contrast, alt text). - Validate payment flows (Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit cards) and maintain PCI awareness. Monitoring, Incidents & Continuous Improvement - Implement real-time monitoring (Sentry, uptime, log alerts) and post-release verifications. - Lead incident triage and root-cause analyses; drive corrective/preventive actions. - Maintain QA dashboards tracking defects, MTTR, and test coverage. Integrations & Ecosystem QA - QA integrations across Shopify Plus, subscriptions (Recharge or similar), reviews (Okendo), search/recommendations, ESP/SMS, and reverse-ETL pipelines. - Validate ERP/3PL hooks that impact inventory, pricing, and delivery promises. What You’ll Bring - 5–8 years in e-commerce QA or QA leadership, including automation for high-traffic storefronts. - Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus (or similar), checkout/payment stacks, and subscription platforms. - Deep knowledge of GA4, server-side tagging, data layers, and pixels. - Proficiency with Playwright/Cypress, CI/CD pipelines, and defect tracking (Jira, Linear). - Familiarity with Core Web Vitals, WCAG 2.2 AA, technical SEO, and performance tuning. - Clear, concise communicator who can translate defects into business impact and drive prioritization. - Bonus: SQL, API testing (Postman), schema/contract testing, and retail media network experience. Team & Growth You’ll start as an individual contributor with dotted-line leadership over agency and contract QA partners — and the opportunity to hire a QA Engineer (automation) and Content QA Coordinator as scope scales. Why You’ll Love Working Here At Dose, you’ll set the quality bar for one of the fastest-growing wellness brands in the U.S. You’ll protect what matters most — the customer experience — while building a modern, scalable QA program from the ground up. Compensation & Benefits - Base Salary: $150,000 – $165,000 USD (depending on experience, location, and skills) - Performance Bonus: Based on company and individual goals - Benefits: Comprehensive health coverage, 401(k), and flexible PTO Final pay will depend on your background, expertise, and where you live. Equal Opportunity Dose is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity in all its forms and make all employment decisions based on merit, qualifications, and business needs. We also consider qualified applicants with criminal histories, in line with applicable laws. If you need an accommodation during the hiring process, please let us know.
