• Drive, lead and participate in the development of proposals and business development activities • Assist in developing new market relevant tools, methodologies, products and deliverables for the rapidly changing human resources industry • Lead and participate in the design and execution of projects to help optimize all elements of the organization including HR transformation, HR outsourcing, HRIS implementation, organizational design, strategic workforce planning, and talent attraction and retention • Coach, lead and develop other members of the team in project activities as well as their general career growth and development • Lead and oversee engagements and project financials • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users • Provide analysis, development, and documentation of improvement opportunities • Facilitate user workshops to gather and document business needs, requirements, weaknesses, and challenges • Continuously learn to better understand RSM’s array of services, with the intent to enhance value to our clients • Effectively document and communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management • Provide thought leadership through presentations or writing such as blogs or RSM content either individually or jointly with other RSM team members • Network internally and externally to develop sales opportunities • Manage multiple projects and project teams to deliver exceptional client experience
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience
- Previous human capital consulting experience from a professional services or CPA firm
- Understanding of the HR function and capabilities including processes, technology, operating model design, strategic competencies, and policies in the US
- Experience in leading HR transformation, HR outsourcing, Organizational Assessment & Design, workforce optimization, and talent attraction and retention
- Functional understanding of HRIS systems
- Experience in at least two of the following focus areas: HR technology selection, Organizational design, HR compensation and payroll, HR policies and compliance, Strategic workforce planning, Employee experience, Mergers & acquisitions
- Ability to travel up to 50% throughout the US and Canada
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Visio
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development and Leadership, Management, or Finance from an accredited university
