• Keep core M365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and Windows systems operating smoothly through accurate day-to-day administration. • Ensure users have the right access at the right time by executing identity, licensing, and access changes with precision. • Support the organization’s security posture by applying approved configurations, monitoring alerts, and escalating potential risks quickly. • Maintain standardized, compliant endpoints using Intune and Autopilot so devices are secure and ready for users. • Strengthen operational maturity by monitoring system health, running approved automation, and keeping documentation current. • Your work reduces incidents, shortens resolution times, and creates trust in IT systems across the business.
Job Requirements
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and on-prem Active Directory
- Experience with user lifecycle management (joiner, mover, leaver processes)
- Familiarity with endpoint management using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot
- Exposure to Microsoft security tools such as Defender, Purview, and Windows Update for Business
- Ability to follow documented procedures and execute changes accurately
- Comfort using ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management) for documentation and tracking
- Ability to monitor service health dashboards and respond appropriately
- Experience executing approved PowerShell scripts (no script authoring required)
- Strong documentation habits with attention to detail and accuracy
- Understanding of escalation boundaries and when to involve senior engineers
- Associate-level Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-900, MD-102, or similar) (Nice to Have)
- Prior experience in a managed services or operations-focused IT environment (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with ITIL-style incident, change, and access management processes (Nice to Have)

Role Description OpenLoop is looking for a Senior Benefits Administrator to join our team remotely or at HQ in Des Moines, IA.
