Job Description: Duties and Responsibilities: - Reports to DOO. - Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to construction and warehouse teams, ensuring that all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. - Reporting to clients on project/work status. - Oversee all aspects of each project. - Inform client and site PM with any concerns that will impact the project. - Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement development plans to enhance team performance and individual growth. - Carry out administrative responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. - Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve divisional goals and objectives. - Oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of construction and warehouse projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. - Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure successful project completion. - Manage resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to optimize productivity and minimize costs. - Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to project sites. - Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner. - Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion within existing client relationships and actively pursue new business opportunities. - Assists HR in recruiting and hires staff. - Work with HR on employee relations including counseling and terminations. - Conducts regular walk-through meetings with Project Managers. - Complete all necessary paperwork and online reports in a timely manner. - Perform other related duties as assigned my management. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction and warehouse management, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility. - Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated track record of effectively managing and motivating teams. - In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations, as well as warehouse operations and logistics. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in project management software, MS Office suite, and other relevant tools and technologies. - Certification in construction management, project management, or related fields is a plus. - Certified to operate a forklift. Physical Demands and Work Environment: - Frequently required to walk a long distance and stand for long periods of time. - Frequently required to bend, stoop, or kneel. - Occasionally required to operate equipment. Must be certified. - Frequently required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds or more on occasion. - Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts. - May be exposed to extreme heat or cold depending on the location and phase of the project.
