Senior Accountant

Bark Technologies

• Process vendor invoices, verify coding accuracy, and execute payments according to terms in a dual-authorization control environment • Manage vendor relationships, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate vendor data • Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for all transactions • Maintain vendor W-9 documentation and support 1099 reporting • Monitor AR aging and conduct collections outreach as needed • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies • Process customer payments and apply to appropriate invoices • Perform daily bank reconciliations and investigate variances • Track cost of goods sold for hardware products (Bark Phone, Watch, Home) • Process customer refunds and credits in accordance with company policy • Maintain prepaid expense schedules and record monthly amortization • Prepare data files and supporting documentation for state and local sales/use tax returns

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Progress toward CPA certification
  • Experience supporting a high-growth or scaling business
  • Strong working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software and advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
