As a Manual QA Engineer, you will work on end-to-end test planning and execution, define pragmatic quality standards and partner with Product, Design and Engineering to ship reliable, highly visual experiences that meet performance and customer outcomes (including e-commerce checkout). How your day-to-day work will look like: ✅ Define and execute a risk-based manual test strategy for web and mobile releases, including clear quality gates and release readiness criteria. ✅ Define test planning for new features, integrations, and market launches (scope, coverage, estimates, environments, and sign-off criteria). ✅ Review requirements and acceptance criteria early, identify gaps/risks, and propose test scenarios to prevent defects before implementation. ✅ Create and maintain high-quality test cases and lightweight documentation in a test management tool (e.g., TestRail), balancing coverage with speed. ✅ Perform exploratory, regression, smoke, and acceptance testing across browsers and devices, with strong attention to UX and visual quality. ✅ Investigate issues using repro isolation, logs, and basic data/API checks; partner with engineering to triage, validate fixes, and prevent regressions. ✅ Drive continuous improvement of QA practices (metrics, defect prevention, retrospectives) and mentor teammates on effective manual testing and quality ownership. This would make you the ideal candidate: ✨ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. ✨ 3+ Years of QA experience testing production web and/or mobile applications, with a strong focus on manual testing and end-to-end ownership. ✨ Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile/Scrum practices; comfortable influencing quality during refinement and sprint planning. ✨ Advanced test design skills (equivalence partitioning, boundary analysis, state transition, pairwise) and strong exploratory testing instincts. ✨ Experience with cross-browser and multi-device testing, including mobile testing and responsive UI validation. ✨ Technical troubleshooting skills: able to use browser dev tools, read logs, and perform basic API testing (e.g., Postman) and basic SQL/data validation when needed. ✨ Excellent defect reporting and triage: clear repro steps, expected vs. actual, severity/priority alignment, and strong communication with stakeholders. ✨ Experience owning test artifacts and reporting (e.g., TestRail), and working with Jira/ADO (or similar) to track quality status through release. ✨ Advanced English Level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients.
