The People and Talent Specialist plays a key role in supporting and sustaining OnePlan’s People and Talent function. This role blends recruiting, HR operations, and employee support, acting as a central point of contact for employees and managers while supporting hiring across entry level to mid level roles. Working closely with the People & Talent Manager and hiring managers, this role helps keep both recruiting and HR operations running smoothly. From drafting job postings and supporting hiring processes to managing onboarding, maintaining employee records, and responding to day to day people related inquiries, this role ensures consistency, accuracy, and a positive employee experience across the full employee lifecycle. This is a hands on role where you’ll be trusted to stay organized, use good judgment, and keep things moving in a fast moving environment. What You’ll Do at OnePlan - Act as a primary point of contact for employees and managers, supporting day to day questions related to policies, practices, benefits, recruiting, and employee programs - Support recruiting across entry level to mid level roles by partnering with hiring managers on job postings, sourcing candidates, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and helping keep hiring processes moving - Work closely with the People & Talent Manager to support sourcing efforts, hiring workflows, and overall recruiting processes - Coordinate interview scheduling and recruitment assessments, ensuring clear communication and a smooth experience for candidates and internal stakeholders - Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including coordinating new hire orientation and helping ensure a smooth, organized experience - Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and internal systems, including BambooHR, through regular updates and audits - Support day to day People operations, including benefits related inquiries, employee documentation requests, and general HR support as needs arise - Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications, including anniversaries, birthdays, and team updates - Step in where needed across People and Talent to help keep things organized and moving Our Ideal Fit - 2 to 3 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or a blended People role - Experience supporting both recruiting and day to day People operations in some capacity - Comfortable working across different parts of the employee lifecycle, with exposure to core HR processes and recruiting activities - Experience with an HRIS (ideally BambooHR) rollouts and integrations and Applicant Tracking Systems - Strong organization and attention to detail, you keep things tight and follow through - Resourceful and self directed, you’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and keeping things moving - Adaptable and comfortable shifting priorities in a fast moving environment - Comfortable working with different stakeholders and communicating clearly with employees and managers - Takes initiative and looks for ways to improve how things are done - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field Bonus Points - Experience in a SaaS or high growth environment - Exposure to both recruiting and People operations within the same role - Familiarity with sourcing candidates using LinkedIn or other recruiting platforms - Experience supporting or improving internal processes, documentation, or workflows - Proficiency in using AI to improve day to day efficiencies, specially agentic AI. This role requires in-depth knowledge of campus-specific and state-specific admissions policies and regulations, as each state reports to its own regulatory boards. The Director will ensure accurate recordkeeping, compliance, and coordination across all campuses to help Unitek Learning meet enrollment budgets and optimize resources system-wide. - Recruit, train, manage, supervise, and motivate a team of Float Admissions Representatives responsible for supporting enrollment activities across all Unitek Learning campuses in California, Nevada, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico. - Ensure each Float Admissions Representative receives regular call evaluations (biweekly), interview evaluations (monthly), and professional standards evaluations (quarterly).
