Program Manager
Elba Hope Foundation
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of programs in Sierra Leone from concept through implementation and evaluation. • Develop detailed workplans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies for all program activities. • Ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational strategy and community needs. • Identify issues early and take corrective action without requiring constant escalation. • Independently identify, track, and manage all legal, regulatory, and permitting requirements related to water, energy, and infrastructure projects. • Serve as the primary point of contact with relevant government ministries, agencies, and local authorities. • Ensure compliance with national and local regulations and proactively manage government relationships to reduce project risk. • Lead structured community needs assessments, including demographic, infrastructure, and service-access analysis. • Establish trusted relationships with community leaders, traditional authorities, and local organizations. • Facilitate inclusive community engagement processes that surface priorities, concerns, and feedback. • Ensure community input meaningfully informs program design and implementation. • Build and manage strategic relationships with NGOs, implementing partners, donors, vendors, and technical partners. • Represent Elba Hope Foundation professionally with senior stakeholders, funders, and key opinion leaders. • Coordinate across internal and external partners to ensure alignment and accountability. • Track program progress against milestones, budgets, and impact indicators. • Prepare concise, decision-ready updates and reports for senior leadership. • Contribute to learning agendas and continuously improve program design based on evidence and feedback.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in program management, community development, international development, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading programs independently—not just supporting them.
- Strong understanding of sustainable development, particularly in water access, renewable energy, or infrastructure-adjacent work.
- Proven ability to manage government relationships and navigate regulatory environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized, execution-oriented, and comfortable working with limited structure.
- Prior experience working in Sierra Leone or West Africa.
- Experience working with donors or international partners.
- Knowledge of local languages in Sierra Leone.
- Familiarity with local regulatory frameworks related to water, energy, or environmental sustainability is preferred.

• Build & Manage Our Dealer Network • Outbound/Inbound Emails and Calls to prospects • Qualify and onboard new window blind dealers and showrooms who want to sell RYSE products • Send sample kits, schedule installation support calls, and walk dealers through their first experience with our products • Conduct training calls and provide ongoing support to help dealers successfully sell and install RYSE • Travel to visit key dealers in the US and Canada (expect 15-20% travel - think trade shows, dealer visits, and relationship building) • Own the Dealer Experience • Be the primary point of contact for all dealer questions, issues, and needs • Process orders, track shipments, handle returns, and resolve problems quickly • Run regular check-ins with dealers to understand what's working and what's not • Create marketing materials, FAQs, and resources that make it easier for dealers to sell • Scale What Works • Track metrics: conversion rates, dealer satisfaction, order volume, and channel revenue • Document what works (and what doesn't) so we can refine the process over time • Report monthly to the founder on program performance and suggest improvements • Eventually hire and train additional team members as the network grows
• Manage a cross-functional R&D and lifecycle management team. • Develop, implement and maintain R&D study plans, ensuring strategies align with corporate goals and that study results are on time and within budget. • Drive the creation and maintenance of a R&D dashboard, providing transparency to senior leadership on R&D progress. • Manage and maintain complete and high-quality core program information and documents such as minutes, agendas, action items, development plans, integrated timelines, assumptions, dashboards. • Proactively track and transparently report on program status against approved timeline, goals, and milestones. • Serve as a central source for cross functional program information across the company, including senior management. • Facilitate project governance, ensuring senior leadership has clear visibility into project milestones and risks. • Reviews R&D deliverables and ensures alignment across research, development and lifecycle management workstreams. • Act as a key liaison between the R&D team and executive leadership. • Collaborating with project and functional area leads, identify project risks, key interdependencies, and proactively develop and implement mitigation plans. • Implement project management best practices, tools, and templates to enhance team efficiency. • Provides coaching and development to team members on project management methodologies. • Measures team performance to achieve deliverables and provide feedback to functional management. • Utilize data from performance metrics and feedback to identify and develop solutions for the broader teams to gain long term efficiencies. • Other duties as assigned.
