Job Description
Brand Manager
Rocket AMS
**Brand Manager (Client Lead Role)** **RocketAMS is looking for a **Brand Manager** to own delivery and relationships across a portfolio of consumer brands on Amazon. This role is ideal for someone who has grown up in an agency environment, has been hands on across campaigns or projects, and is now ready to **step into people leadership and client ownership**. You do not need deep Amazon experience, we will teach you that. What matters is that you know how agencies actually run, how clients think, and how to keep work moving at pace.** **The Role** You will be the **day-to-day owner** of a group of client accounts. That means:** - Leading client relationships - Setting direction and priorities - Coaching specialists who execute the work - Making sure things ship, on time and to a high standard You are not doing the bulk of the execution yourself – but you **understand it well enough to guide, review, and unblock others**.** This role is best suited to someone earlier in their leadership journey rather than a senior consultant or agency director. **What You’ll Be Responsible For:** - Own client relationships end-to-end – calls, follow-ups, priorities, and trust. - Translate client goals into clear direction for our in-house team. - Manage and coach specialists across advertising, content, and operations. - Keep projects moving using tools like ClickUp, Google Sheets, and Slack. - Review work before it goes to clients – quality and clarity sit with you. - Turn performance data into clear next actions, not just reports. - Spot risks early and solve problems calmly. - Contribute to improving how RocketAMS operates as we scale. **This Role Is a Great Fit If You:** - Come from a **small to mid-sized agency** where you had to do the work yourself. - Have managed clients directly and enjoy being accountable for outcomes. - Are ready to move from “doing” to **leading and coaching others**. - Are organised, calm, and good at keeping momentum. - Like building trust with clients and teams over time. - Want real ownership rather than a narrow specialist lane. **What This Role Is Not** - Not a pure strategy or consulting role. - Not a creative execution role. - Not a senior “advisor” position with no delivery ownership. You are close to the work, the people, and the client. **The Honest Part:** - The pace is fast, we are growing quickly and clients expect results. This role suits people who stay calm, prioritise well, and like being relied on. If you enjoy responsibility and momentum, you will thrive here.
Job Requirements
- Experience We’re Looking For:**
- Required**
- 2+ years managing client relationships in an agency or professional services setting.
- Hands-on experience using tools like Google Sheets, project management platforms, and Slack.
- Experience coordinating or mentoring others (formally or informally).
- Nice to Have (not required)**
- Background in performance marketing, content, social, media, or agency ops.
- Experience working with eCommerce or retail clients.
- Exposure to fast-growing or high-pressure agency environments.**
- We care more about **how you operate** than which channel you came from.
Benefits
- Why Join RocketAMS:
- Real ownership** – you run your client portfolio end-to-end.
- Clear progression** – this role grows into senior leadership as the agency scales.
- High trust environment** – autonomy with accountability.
- Fast-moving agency** – no layers, no fluff.
- Remote-first** across Australia, with optional coworking in Melbourne and Sydney.
- Modern tools** – ClickUp, Slack, Google Workspace.
