Senior Analyst, MENA – Geoeconomics of GCC region

Eurasia Group

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on economic and political developments in the Arab Gulf, with a focus on long-term investment projects and transformations. • Provide insights on regulatory changes and business framework advancements that influence investment priorities in the GCC region. • Produce well-structured analytical reports and thought leadership pieces, translating complex information into accessible insights for clients. • Engage directly with clients, understanding their needs, offering tailored advice, and developing meaningful relationships to support business development efforts. • Collaborate with the broader Eurasia Group team to ensure the integration of regional insights into global political risk analysis and client solutions. • Support Business Development activities by identifying opportunities and facilitating client interactions.

Job Requirements

  • A background in research and analysis with at least 7 years of relevant experience focusing on the MENA region, particularly the GCC countries.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas in both written and verbal formats.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Preference for candidates currently located in the region (UAE or Saudi Arabia), given the importance of on-the-ground insight and understanding.
  • An advanced degree in political science, economics, international relations, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required.

Provides salary and incentive recommendations on new and existing roles when requested.
