Commissioning Project Manager – Mission Critical
CRB
• Manage and document day-to-day commissioning activities for critical, mechanical, and electrical systems within facilities • Develop and manage project budgets & resources throughout the project lifecycle • Provide training and mentoring to team members • Lead troubleshooting and technical issues that may arise during installation and commissioning • Lead by example by instilling a culture of safety and quality on the jobsite • Develop commissioning plans for data center projects and define pre-mobilization activities to meet project demands • Oversee the entire commissioning process and documentation generation through execution to ensure all systems are built in compliance with industry standards • Review specifications in a timely manner to ensure accurate system installation occurs prior to Cx • Support construction project managers in start-up schedule planning and implementation • Provide progress reports and schedule look ahead to construction teams • Identify potential risks related to commissioning and proactively develop solutions as they arise • Ensure safety standards are being followed in accordance with guidelines, regulations, and Client procedures • Communicate projects statuses for both internal and external Client’s • This position may require 100% travel and client site location for an extended period of time • Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or applicable discipline and/or field experience relative to this specific discipline
- 5 + years of Commissioning Experience (MEP & Electrical), as well as previous Project Management experience for data centers or critical facilities
- Commitment to technical excellence, as well as creating world-class experiences for our clients and employees
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems based on industry standards and regulations
- Strong knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) and its use in coordination of the Mechanical and Electrical systems
- Familiar with Bluebeam Studio/Revu
- Familiar with standards and regulations, such as NFPA and ASHRAE
- Proven Commissioning and System Startup experience
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and collaborative leadership skills necessary to communicate clearly, and effectively manage commissioning activities with all levels of personnel from various disciplines across the organization.
