• Develop and maintain 60+ grocery retail relationships within an assigned 100+ mile range territory • Determine the best location within each store for sales of all Wonderful brand products by building and moving displays • Rotate and stock all company authorized products on each grocery store call • Maintain schematic integrity while re-merchandising projects including grand openings and remodels as requested by the retailer • Develop and maintain relationships with retailer personnel and supervisors to facilitate account penetration • Sell, up-sell, and maintain retail distribution of all headquarter-authorized products for all stores in assigned territory • Accurately record all data-gathering objectives as instructed through use of company hand-held devices • Execute, maintain, and monitor all company-driven marketing initiatives and programs, including maintenance of POS and coupon/tie-in programs • Provide chain-specific information and communication on a daily
Job Requirements
- Proven retail sales success promoting grocery store products
- Ability to form partnerships with store and produce managers, preferably within food and beverage
- Capability to provide compelling rationales to store management staff
- Prior experience and understanding of managing a large store territory and daily drive time
- Possess excellent selling, negotiation, and partnership-building skills
- Remain detail-oriented, goal-minded, problem-solving while working independently
- Enjoy working with people and applying effective interpersonal and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel

POSITION SUMMARY: The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for general and specific tasks related to the effective opening, execution and closing of the end-to-end sales cycle processes through the development of sales strategies. • Own and grow your territory by managing existing accounts and developing new OEM and end-user relationships • Plan and execute weekly sales calls using CRM to prioritize opportunities and drive results • Sell solutions, not just components — design and propose fluid connector solutions including hoses, tube fittings, quick couplings, and instrumentation • Be the technical expert — apply your motion control knowledge to identify, specify, and close opportunities • Collaborate internally with inside sales, application engineers, marketing, and management to deliver best-in-class customer support • Run product demos and Lunch-and-Learns at customer sites with factory and THG resources • Stay sharp by attending product training, factory schools, and sales meetings • Work with vendor partners through joint sales calls and networking opportunities • Create cross-selling opportunities by promoting other Hope Group divisions and services • Resolve issues proactively — investigate concerns and ensure customer satisfaction
• Own and grow a defined territory of core and target mining and industrial MRO accounts • Build strong relationships with mine managers, maintenance leaders, safety teams, and purchasing • Spend your days on customer sites identifying needs, solving problems, and supporting uptime • Develop and execute territory action plans to capture a larger share of wallet within key accounts • Promote and sell a broad portfolio of industrial and safety-focused MRO products, including: Hydraulic hose & fittings, Industrial hose, Safety products (gas detection, breathing apparatus, PPE), General MRO, lubrication, filtration, electrical products, wire & cable, and communications • Partner with branch managers and internal teams to align inventory, pricing, and service support • Work closely with Inventory Control to manage stock levels and reduce obsolete inventory • Track activity and opportunities using CRM and provide clear, professional communication internally and externally • Occasional overnight travel as required within the territory
