Clinical Account Manager – Central Plains
Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB
• Acts as the primary customer contact for sales demand creation by executing marketing strategy and promoting Sobi products • Provides current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Sobi’s products and effectively communicates the on-label information about the products • Achieves territory sales by executing Plan of Action (POA) marketing strategies • Delivers branded sales messages to customers and represents Sobi at local meetings • Achieves or exceeds sales targets • Develops and implements a territory business plan, conducting weekly analysis of sales data to prioritize physician calls and ensure accurate reporting • Maintains strict compliance with all corporate, regulatory, state, and federal guidelines
Job Requirements
- BA/BS in business or science
- Minimum of 7 years selling experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry, with minimum of 3 years’ specialty sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry
- Rare disease experience is encouraged and Rheumatology experience is a plus
- Demonstrated history of high sales performance
- Experience with single source pharmacies, reimbursement programs, managed care, and formulary
- Strong work ethic, ability to develop priorities, and manage time appropriately in a large, assigned geography
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

• Grow New Business sales customers • Partner with the inside renewals team to help grow or upsell the existing renewal • Expand new business within accounts that have been shrinking • Consultative led sales approach to position security solutions • Strive to exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets • Work with technical pre-sales & PS teams to develop solutions & conducting workshops • Engage and present at multiple levels within an account including board level • Develop account and opportunity plans to improve account strategy • Develop relationships with channel and service partners to develop strategic agreement • Manage sales CRM tool, and produce weekly accurate forecasting • Engage senior execs where required within assigned accounts • Keep knowledge updated of the Security market and meet training targets to maintain understanding of products, processes, and promotions to provide the highest levels of sales support
