Job Description
Senior Fullstack Engineer
Silver.dev
• Design and build the backend APIs and services that power wallet management, transaction signing, asset tracking, and portfolio operations across multiple blockchains. • Own PostgreSQL schema design — modeling financial and blockchain data. • Build and maintain blockchain interaction layers for EVM chains, Solana, Bitcoin, Cosmos, and future networks. • Implement webhook handlers, background jobs, and async workflows. • Write migration scripts to transition legacy v1 data into the new platform architecture cleanly and safely. • Support frontend integration by wiring React components to production API endpoints. • Write automated tests across unit, API, integration, and E2E layers. • Leverage AI tools as a daily force multiplier.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of technical leadership and system ownership.
- 8+ years working with TypeScript across both Node.js and React environments.
- Product vision and user-centric mindset — you don't just build what's specced.
- Proven blockchain/Web3 backend experience — you have shipped production wallet infrastructure, custody systems, DeFi backends, blockchain data platforms, or similar. This is strongly preferred.
- Strong backend API design skills in Node.js / TypeScript.
- Deep experience with PostgreSQL — relational schema design, indexing strategies, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Demonstrated ability to design systems that handle concurrency, race conditions, async workflows, and failure recovery correctly.
- Strong engineering fundamentals in defensive programming and production hardening.
- Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals: transaction lifecycle, gas estimation, RPC providers, signing flows, and multi-chain addressing.
- Experience with background job processing and asynchronous systems.
Benefits
- Fully remote — work from anywhere.
- Greenfield architecture — you are not maintaining legacy code, you are replacing it.
- Small team, real ownership — your decisions shape the platform. Your code ships to production. Your voice matters in every technical and product conversation.
- A mission worth building for — custody infrastructure for digital wealth that people trust across generations.
- AI-native engineering culture — AI tools are embedded in how we work, not bolted on as an afterthought.
