Senior Solutions Engineer

• Creating sales opportunities by managing the pre-sales technical process and demonstrating Akamai's technology to customers. • Managing the technical proposal process and ensuring all technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate. • Tracking account activity for business analysis and reporting, designing technical solutions to meet our customer's needs. • Leading sales activities such as Technical Demos and Proof of Concepts (POC's). • Maximizing customer satisfaction based on the customer's needs and business requirements.

Job Requirements

  • 8yrs of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or another related field
  • Experience working in a customer-facing or consulting role in technical presales/sales engineering/post-sales
  • Demonstrate understanding of the internet, including but not limited to technologies like TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP(S), APIs etc.
  • Experience or an interest in working with DevOps, Media or Internet Security
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences
  • Be a team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment
