Role Overview The Sourcing Specialist owns the top-of-funnel talent discovery process, identifying, engaging, and pre-qualifying candidates to build strong, ready-to-interview pipelines. This role is execution-heavy and research-driven—focused on proactive sourcing, structured outreach, and disciplined pipeline management. You will act as the talent discovery engine, using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and multi-channel outreach to surface qualified candidates across global markets. This role is ideal for resourceful sourcers who thrive in high-volume environments, enjoy candidate engagement, and take pride in delivering consistently strong pipelines. Your Impact Your work will directly accelerate hiring timelines and improve candidate quality. By sourcing proactively and screening effectively, you’ll reduce recruiter workload and ensure only qualified candidates move forward. Your structured notes, tagging, and reporting will give recruiting teams clarity and confidence in decision-making while providing leadership visibility into sourcing performance. Core Responsibilities Candidate Sourcing & Research — 35% - Source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and job boards - Conduct in-depth research on candidate backgrounds, skills, and experience - Identify passive and active candidates aligned with role requirements - Build talent maps and pipeline strategies for recurring roles - Source across multiple channels (LinkedIn, referrals, communities, networks) - Stay current on talent market trends and hiring patterns - Identify future-ready talent pools for anticipated hiring needs Candidate Engagement & Outreach — 25% - Draft targeted, compelling outreach messages - Engage candidates via email, LinkedIn, phone, or video calls - Conduct initial screening conversations to assess fit and interest - Communicate role value propositions and next steps clearly - Maintain positive candidate experience from first contact to handoff - Answer candidate questions professionally and accurately - Nurture candidate relationships for current and future roles Pipeline Management & Database Maintenance — 20% - Maintain organized, accurate candidate records in ATS - Manage sourcing lifecycle: research → outreach → screening → shortlisting - Tag and categorize candidates for future matching - Build and maintain role-specific and evergreen talent pools - Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and pipeline hygiene - Track candidate progression and availability status Screening & Assessment — 10% - Validate candidate experience, skills, and tool proficiency - Assess communication quality, professionalism, and role alignment - Conduct structured screening using defined criteria - Identify red flags or gaps early in the process - Prepare clear, concise candidate summaries for recruiter handoff Collaboration & Reporting — 10% - Align with recruiters and hiring managers on role requirements - Provide weekly pipeline updates and sourcing metrics - Track outreach volume, response rates, and qualified submissions - Share market insights and sourcing learnings with the team - Refine sourcing strategies based on performance data
