• Reporting to the Library Project Manager, Team Lead the Library Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of project management, coordination and implementation relative to the gene mutant library and related businesses of Twist Bioscience; Site Variant Libraries (SVL) and Combinatorial Variant Libraries (CVL) • Manage communications required to facilitate library projects, as follows: Communication with customers, international sales & support, Twist customer service, Twist legal and the library business group, including, but not limited to non-disclosure agreements, library designs, customer quotes, purchase orders, and statements of work. • Respond directly or direct incoming inquiries from customers and the global sales & support organizations to the appropriate expertise within the Library Team; respond quickly and professionally with the information provided by the Library Team in response to customer and internal inquiries; maintain records • Coordinate and collate detailed library design input from customers and/or the global sales & support teams ensuring that the design data supports the needs of the customer and reflects the capabilities of the Library Fabrication Team • Work with Library Project Manager and the Library Fabrication Team(s) to collect costing for specific library designs as part of quote preparation • Working with the Director of the Library Business and Library Project Manager, prepare and distribute quotes for libraries and other related business; maintain an up-to-date database of issued quotations • Collect, collate and maintain easily accessible database of NDAs, library quotes, library designs, orders and shipments • Maintain (transparent) accessible list of library WIP • Maintain accurate, timely records in all systems to allow for up-to-date reporting, including but not limited to quotes issued, orders placed, orders in progress, orders shipped • Provide updates on project progress as agreed with certain customers • Manage communication between customers and the internal team providing order fulfillment details and deliverables • General knowledge of library fabrication work flows • Any other “ad hoc” projects not listed above as required from time to time • Follow regulatory and ISO 13485 requirements
Job Requirements
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in the life sciences or related field, with >2 years in a customer facing role
- Requires bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry or related Life Science. Advanced degree and / or hands on laboratory experience a bonus
- Customer communication from inquiry to delivery of services
- Understanding of services offering and customer workflows that the services offerings address
- Proven ability to work effectively with customers, internal operations and sales teams
- Demonstrated track record of managing projects that meet customer expectations
- Outstanding teamwork and communication skills
- Hands on, high energy, positive attitude with a can-do attitude that gets it done.

Role Description OpenLoop is looking for a Director of Operations, New Programs to join our team remotely or at our HQ in Des Moines, IA. In this role, you will lead the launch and scale of world-class patient experiences across our new and emerging product verticals, including Longevity, TRT, HRT, ED, Sleep, and future categories. • Completes PSA system contract setup tasks: Review and understand the won opportunity contract, estimate and obligations prior to commencing setup, set up contract components to ensure proper integration with the Oracle ERP system, setup required Fixed Fee and Fixed Fee Billing Schedules to support project POC and milestone billing, setup required T&M Billing Rates to support project T&M billing, initiate resource requests for resource assignment process. • Completes PSA labor and expense-based project setup tasks: Setup based on the practice specific templates and type of labor and expense project, setup budget information, assign resources, assign default billing roles, assign Fixed Fees, assign task level budget hours information. • Create Billing Milestone tasks. • Completes resource assignment process tasks. • Completes Contract and Project Review and release for integration to ERP system. • Conducts Contract Management & Compliance support, including but not limited to project contract billing, revenue, and forecast reconciliations, etc., as needed. • Conducts Project Setup Audits and assists projects managers with financial related setup to ensure the Project Management related PSA setup meets financial contract obligations. • Prepares or directs more junior team members on project-related Month-end schedule by coordinating with accounting and managing Project Management and Consulting & Delivery compliance to Month-end deliverables, including but not limited to: Time and Expense Submission and Approval Compliance Management, verifying Fixed Bid % Complete Compliance by PMs, Time and Materials Billing support, as needed. • Assists with reporting, communication, and management of process compliance. • Acts as a Project Operations & PSA Liaison to: Accounting, Delivery Leadership and Project Manager / Owners, Sales Operations, Sales, Compliance and Procurement. • Completes special project-related tasks, as assigned. • Manages Delivery Survey process and reporting. • Completes specific departmental reporting updates and evaluation of key departmental reports. Makes recommendations to Project Operations management for actions to be taken. • Take on administration of process/systems managed and used by the Project Operations team and be a key participant in systems-related meetings as a Project Operations stakeholder representative, as assigned. • Owns execution of Project Change Orders and related process: Evaluates, assesses, and produces deduct and cancellation Change Orders for the Project Management Office to ensure accurate contract values are documented and reflected. Provides to Project Managers and/or CSMs to gather appropriate signatures. • Trains Project Managers on Change Order process and related procedures for them to complete Change Orders independently. • Assists Project Managers with Change Order creation and processing, where needed. • Leads, mentors and trains more junior Project Operations staff who support the project Change Order process.
