• You actively develop our Smart Heating business by acquiring new key accounts and maintaining existing ones. • You build long-term partnerships in the residential housing sector, with housing cooperatives and energy utilities. • You identify market opportunities early, proactively contact potential customers and use networks to open new doors. • You design tailored solutions that meet our customers' specific requirements. • You present our products in one-on-one meetings, at trade shows and at events. • You are responsible for the complete sales process: from the initial conversation through needs assessment and proposal preparation to final contract negotiation. • You work closely with product and project teams to continuously develop our solutions based on customer feedback.
Job Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or a degree in business/economics with a technical orientation
- Several years of experience in B2B sales of technical products in heating/building services, smart building/metering, real estate or energy efficiency
- A passionate salesperson who combines a sales mindset with technical competence
- A structured, independent and goal-oriented working style
- Strong communication, presentation and closing skills
- A high level of self-motivation, reliability and implementation strength
- Service-oriented thinking and a professional manner at decision-maker level
- High willingness to travel

This individual will work with internal partners (creative, business, and sales teams) and McCormick's media agencies to aid in the development and execution of retail media plans that enable the achievement of our business and financial objectives. The candidate will be a pivotal part of the Global Media team with strong analytical and operational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Key Responsibilities: - Support execution of digital retail media campaigns across North America that deliver growth for McCormick and the customer with specific focus on lower-funnel conversion - Help deliver insights-led digital retail media inputs as part of full funnel planning process in partnership with McCormick’s media agency - Work collaboratively with creative and business teams to customize assets in accordance with retailer specifications and brand tone of voice - Provide inputs for planning digital retail media budget - Analyze campaign level data and provide insights and recommendations for go forward strategy using both POS data and shopper card data. - Contribute to regular campaign read out presentations by providing data, insights, and context associated with shopper marketing plans - Identify opportunities to simplify retail media planning process - Leverage expertise from category management, consumer insights, and retail teams to develop data driven digital media plans - Utilize post execution analytics to provide data-led recommendations on future optimizations - Elevate the role of data and analytics in driving digital retail media execution and post campaign evaluation - Provide granular account-specific data for input into marketing mix Qualifications: - BA in Marketing, Economics, Business, or related field - 1-3 years of relevant experience with retail media marketing, preferably at an agency or in a CPG related field - Basic understanding of retail media networks, CPG industry, and competitive landscape - Experience leading projects including proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively and diplomatically - Strong intellectual curiosity and ability to navigate complex / new situations - Ability to work cooperatively with internal and external partners – including outside media agencies, creative, delivery teams, business team, and field sales team - Strong oral and written communication skills - Technical expertise including excellent knowledge of MS Office programs (Power Point, Excel, Word) Preferred Qualifications: - Master’s degree in quantitative field or MBA - Working knowledge of IRI / Nielsen preferred - Working knowledge of Retail Media Networks like Walmart Media Connect, Instacart Carrot Ads, Amazon Ads, etc. - CPG or Agency background - Advanced experience leading multiple projects effectively and diplomatically. - Ability to translate quantitative data into actionable insights through storytelling. #LI-SM1 As a general policy, McCormick does not offer employment visa sponsorships upon hire or in the future. Base Salary: $74,330 - $130,080 Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer.
