Optimy.ai is an established eCommerce solution helping automotive dealerships deliver personalized, high-quality customer experiences online. As we continue to expand our automotive division, we are looking for a sales-focused BDC Representative to manage and convert a high volume of inbound and outbound leads. In this role, you will work alongside Optimy.ai’s AI Nurture technology, engaging customers where automation leaves off and applying a human, sales-driven approach to secure qualified appointments for both Sales and Service teams. You will play a key role in driving dealership growth by consistently converting leads into booked appointments while maintaining a strong customer experience. - Manage high-volume inbound and outbound communication across calls, texts, emails, and chat for both Sales and Service. - Monitor and engage leads through the Optimy.ai platform, stepping in where AI tools leave off to handle objections and secure appointments. - Qualify customer needs and convert leads into booked appointments while maintaining a strong customer experience. - Maintain consistent follow-up with unsold leads, no-shows, and service opportunities to drive conversion. - Accurately track all customer interactions and lead progress within the CRM system. - Execute workflows and scripts aligned with performance standards to ensure consistent conversion and appointment rates. - Meet or exceed KPIs including appointment setting, show rate, and overall lead conversion. Qualifications - 1–2 years of experience in business development, inside sales, or call center role; automotive experience is an asset. - Comfortable working with AI-driven communication tools. - Proficiency with automotive CRM platforms (e.g., VinSolutions, eLead, DealerSocket, etc.). - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively. - Proven ability to meet or exceed appointment-setting and performance metrics. Requirements - Experience in both sales and service BDC functions (preferred). - Familiarity with digital retailing tools and chat platforms (preferred). The Candidate: - Bachelor’s degree in science, business administration or another related field preferred; Advanced scientific degree and/or Master of Business Administration / commercially orientated degree is advantageous but not essential. - 0-3 years of relevant experience in B2B sales, Business Development, Project Management, or another customer-facing role. Previous experience with Catalent preferred. Pharma or Consumer Health industry experience preferred. - Sales/business development experience in the contract pharmaceutical industry preferred. - Hunting mentality mandatory. - Demonstrate willingness to learn new methods and partner with other BD team members to learn basics of selling. - Eagerness to learn and develop expertise in CDMO sales. - The ability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to meet with clients and attend industry events. - Excellent communication in English plus local language of territory (if applicable) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients.
