Senior Project Manager, GIS

• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans, timelines, schedules, task assignments, and milestones. • Establish project governance structures, communication plans, and reporting processes as needed. • Drive execution across cross-functional teams including Infrastructure, Applications, Cybersecurity, PMO, and Business stakeholders. • Track progress and adjust plans proactively to mitigate risks and resolve issues. • Deliver weekly status updates to stakeholders and executive leadership. • Coordinate procurement activities for software, licensing, IT services, and hardware. • Support updates to TOM, TSA (Transition Services Agreement) materials, and other project documentation. • Identify, log, and manage project risks, issues, and inter-project dependencies. • Lead cross-functional meetings, workshops, and working sessions. • Coach junior PMs and project coordinators as needed.

Job Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of IT project management experience managing large, complex technology initiatives.
  • Proven experience with software implementations, infrastructure projects, cloud migrations, cybersecurity initiatives, or enterprise-wide transformations.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
  • Expertise in vendor and contract management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Azure DevOps, Jira).
