Primary Responsibilities - Act as a point of contact for customer concerns that cannot be resolved within the business unit - Handle sensitive employee concerns and investigations, including interpersonal conflict in the workplace, terminations, employee complaints, ethics reports, and allegations of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation - Support ethics hotline investigations involving claims of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, as well as complex allegations related to violations of company policies and procedures - Offer advice and help to team members and all levels of management on employee relations issues and bring up matters when needed - Maintain positive relationships to support employees and managers both in person and remotely - Exhibit a high level of integrity; handle confidential information ethically, professionally, and appropriately - Provide professional and confidential HR advice to Business Partners on potentially sensitive matters and serve as central point of contact for policy interpretation, disciplinary actions, and terminations - Maintain accurate, timely, and required documentation of activities to ensure quality employee relations records and metrics - Collaborate with other centers of excellence within the People Services function - Actively engage in performance management and support team member growth - Exercise good judgment and expertise within defined policies and practices - Maintain ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage competing priorities - Consult and build relationships with all levels of team members - Conduct exit interviews to gather insight into turnover trends - Support People Services related training - Actively participate as a member of a larger People Services team to support overall department initiatives - With legal support, maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations Requirements - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, or related field - Minimum of 2 years in an HR Generalist or equivalent role - Experience consulting on US employment laws - Experience consulting on multiple employee relations issues that vary in scope and complexity - Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills - Ability to work independently - Bi-lingual preference (English + French and/or Spanish) Company: Behr Paint Company Shift 1 (United States of America) Full time Hiring Range: $91,700.00 - $144,100.00 USD Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.
