Senior NPI Engineer
Flock Safety
• Support our growing Aviation initiatives • Add to and build up the NPI team to launch new products and sustain existing designs at all stages of their lifecycle • Integral in supporting new and existing contract manufacturers to qualify designs for mass production • Set up assembly & test flows, drive root-cause/corrective action plans to recover devices stranded in quarantine • Manage continuous improvement to increase efficiencies and lower costs in production • Own the NPI cycle for quality-of-life design changes to support the vitality of our existing products • Travel up to 25%
Job Requirements
- BSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline
- At least 5-7 years of experience in NPI, HW Production/Manufacturing, or similar functional roles, particularly in Aviation or UAS products
- Knowledge and experience with Mobile, IoT, Imaging, or battery-operated devices’ assembly process and testing
- Experience with manufacturing process development and improvement in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in working with contract manufacturers
- Broad technical competence across relevant engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, etc.)
- A deep understanding of the development cycle as a process and a discipline – the ability to drive first principles and maintain focus on goals during constant change, learning, and new analysis.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including injection molding, PCBA fabrication, cable over-molding, etc.
- Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Excellent teamwork skills with proven ability to work with a cross-functional team and drive for timely project success
- Has brought multiple UAS products to market (Nice to have)
- Can read schematic diagrams and PCB documentation (Nice to have)
- Has developed and implemented test solutions for new products, including software and hardware (Nice to have)
- Experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturing) of PCB and electronic components production (Nice to have)
- Knowledge and experience in using CAD (SolidWorks) to design aids and/or fixtures for manufacturing or testing (Nice to have)
- Knowledge and experience in using Altium for test fixture circuit design (Nice to have)
- Knowledge and experience in optics and image test and analysis (Nice to have)
- Proven track record bringing products from a prototyping and conception phase all the way through mass production (Nice to have)

Senior Environmental Engineer / Scientist Location: Remote (U.S.) with occasional travel Client Support: Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) Position Type: Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer/Scientist to provide environmental program and acquisition support services to the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC). The selected candidate will serve as a technical subject matter expert supporting environmental compliance programs, acquisition planning activities, and contract oversight for environmental projects at Air Force installations. This position supports environmental program management, development of environmental compliance scopes of work, and technical review of acquisition and program documentation. The role requires strong experience with Air Force environmental compliance programs, cost estimating, and environmental program planning.
