As Senior Counsel, Advertising and Promotion, you'll be responsible for reviewing advertising, promotional, and other consumer-facing materials, ensuring they are compliant with FTC and FDA regulations and guidelines, and also manage a junior advertising and promotion attorney. You’ll partner closely with our Growth and Marketing teams to counsel on marketing content across the full spectrum of platforms, including websites, social media, podcasts, billboards, and TV. You have a strong knowledge of FDA and FTC advertising regulations and cases, and particularly with respect to prescription drugs and health products. You're smart, collaborative, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment while handling several projects at the same time. What You'll Do: - Serve as an internal subject matter expert on FTC and FDA advertising and promotion issues as they pertain to health products, and provide guidance to cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with FTC and FDA laws and regulations. - Sit on Ro’s collaborative medical-legal-marketing review process and review the creative assets for regulatory compliance. Periodic travel may be required to various sites to investigate events or situations, as well as travel to various meetings (estimated 10% to 20% travel). This is a fixed-term contract until the end of November 2026. What your day-to-day will look like: - Support JLL's Canadian operations in achieving HSE goals by developing and continuously improve HSE culture across property management teams. - Support the operation teams to identify, eliminate, and control hazardous conditions that may lead to injury and/or property damage and/or adverse effects to the environment using appropriate HSE standards, best management practices, and analytical techniques. - Ensure that accidents, injuries, near misses, good catches, and other events are captured, and the data is managed and reported. Required Qualifications - 8-10+ years of experience in a HSSE role. - Broad-based knowledge of environmental, safety and occupational health regulations across Canada. - Experience in managing and mitigating HSE risks related to operations. - Experience in coordinate reporting with workers compensation boards - Rigorous, structured, and analytical mind. - Ability to autonomously manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to extract and clearly communicate key messages to peers, operations teams, executive leadership, and clients. - Creative problem-solving skills, global thinking and ability to employ intelligent flexibility with pragmatic solutioning. - Good verbal and written communication skills.
