Job Description

Partnership Program Manager

FMX

• Lead scoping calls with customers and prospects to understand workflows, requirements, and acceptance criteria. • Review partner API documentation and align with Engineering to assess feasibility, effort, risks, and dependencies. • Make the call on whether a customer-sourced integration is strategically viable enough for FMX to build and support. • Pursue formal partnership steps with the vendor when appropriate. • Drive scope alignment and secure formal agreement via an SOW. • Coordinate delivery and testing with Engineering and the requesting customer. • Build and run a formal inbound partner intake process. • Define and maintain requirements for being considered an official FMX partner. • Lead partnership formation activities and document agreements and expectations. • Own ongoing partner relationship management, including partner profiles and engagement history in a partner relationship management (PRM) or CRM system. • Coordinate partner testing readiness by ensuring the partner has the environments, documentation, and support needed to test the integration. • Maintain a clear, up-to-date inventory of partnerships and integrations. • Identify and pursue strategic integration opportunities that improve FMX marketability, retention, and revenue. • Validate market demand and recruit design partners or test customers. • Coordinate testing for FMX-sourced strategic integrations by recruiting FMX customers to participate in testing efforts. • Run the same feasibility, partnership, sandbox access, delivery, and testing motion as customer-sourced work. • Ensure integrations are supportable long-term with clear ownership, documentation, and governance. • Partner with Marketing and Sales to package, enable, and launch integrations to the broader customer base. • Create enablement materials such as positioning, one-pagers, FAQs, qualification guidance, and internal playbooks. • Track partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline and other agreed metrics, and iterate on the results. • Provide structured, proactive stakeholder updates with clear status, risks, decisions needed, and next steps.

Job Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of experience in partnerships, partner programs, ecosystem/channel, alliances, or technical account management, specifically involving the coordination of multiple stakeholders to drive complex deals to completion.
  • A high level of integration and API comfort that enables you to read technical documentation and collaborate with Engineering to assess feasibility and scope (though direct engineering experience is not required).
  • Strong SOW and scope discipline reflected in your comfort level with documenting and negotiating contract terms.
  • Proven GTM collaboration skills demonstrated by a history of partnering with Sales and Marketing to create enablement materials, run campaigns, and support co-selling motions.
  • Exceptional written communication characterized by the ability to write clear, structured, and scannable updates that drive decision-making and follow-through.
  • Rigorous operational strength in tracking timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and financial terms across multiple concurrent partner threads.
  • Expertise in stakeholder coordination and the ability to work across cross-functional teams with a high degree of accountability.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving that allows you to anticipate questions, clarify ambiguity early, and move quickly to remove blockers.
  • Fluency with modern productivity tools, including an appetite for using AI and other software to increase speed and communicate more effectively.
  • A match with our core pillars: Teamwork, Excellence, and Integrity.

Benefits

  • 100% company-paid health, dental, vision, long and short term disability, and life insurance.
  • At FMX, we are remote first, but you’re welcome to use our office as you need.
  • We have one all-company event a year to ensure that you can put a face to that name and establish high-trust relationships with your teammates and co-workers.
  • When you’re in the office, you can take advantage of our free snacks, beverages, and office kegerator.
  • We’ll give you everything necessary to do your job (company-sponsored laptop, headset, etc.).
  • We will also provide up to $500 to help with equipment, furniture, and accessories.
  • You will also get $60/month toward your home internet connection.
  • Generous PTO and UTO (unplanned time off) policies: If you’re sick, why should that cut into your vacation time?
  • We offer a flexible schedule to help you manage personal appointments, such as doctor or dentist visits, as long as you're meeting performance expectations and project timelines.
  • Feel free to keep it casual, we do.
  • We're a team of hard-working, high-fiving, friendly folks. We take collaboration, transparency, continuous improvement, and work/life balance seriously.
