Senior Backend Engineer, E-Commerce team

• Develop, maintain, and migrate Tonies shop infrastructure • Ensure a robust backend platform offering RESTful and GraphQL APIs • Ensure the reliability of services - 24/7, 365 days a year • Collaborate in a cross-functional team to deliver seamless services • Work closely with the Product Manager, UXer, and specialized engineers for user experience in web and app
Job Requirements
- Fluent in at least two programming languages (ideally including TypeScript)
- Experience with Commercetools and/or Shopify (Headless) is a big plus
- Some knowledge of PHP and Symfony is helpful
- Familiar with event-driven architectures
- APIs (REST or GraphQL)
- Code that is lean, well-structured, and easy to understand
- Experience working with Git and GitLab
- Importance on automated tests, CI/CD, and observability
- Comfortable communicating in English in a professional work environment
- Collaboration in a cross-functional team (backend, frontend, app, UX)
- Passion for software engineering and continuous learning
