• Own engineering end-to-end: architecture, technical direction, quality, and scalability • Lead delivery across product and engineering—turning product goals into shipped reality • Design, build, and own AI-driven systems, including agents, decision engines, and model-backed workflows • Set the technical strategy for how they use AI responsibly, reliably, and at scale • Stay hands-on in the code while also setting the long-term technical vision • Lead and mentor the engineering team; help build the team and culture over time • Partner closely with the CEO on roadmap decisions, sequencing, and technical tradeoffs • Make clear, pragmatic decisions around build vs buy, infrastructure, and integrations • Anticipate technical risk and address it before it becomes a blocker

• Remotely build and manage a distributed team of 10 developers and testers ranging from experienced to very senior • Drive software delivery through championing team velocity, predictability, and accountability • Ensure reliable delivery by managing scope, workload, addressing blockers and resource changes • Develop people through coaching, mentoring, and management support • Conduct regular 1:1, goal-setting, and feedback conversations with direct reports to ensure team health and individual growth • Work with development teams, product managers, product owners, and others to maintain high levels of transparency, efficiency, collaboration and set context with the team so they are empowered and equipped to make great business and engineering-informed decisions • Continually find ways to improve processes and efficiencies through technology and automation • Strong ownership of team results, building on the good and taking corrective action on the bad

• Hire, manage, engage, and mentor a large, remote team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and accountable culture. • Guide the development of each team member through coaching and constructive feedback. • Conduct formal performance reviews and manage compensation adjustments. • Strategically resource developers to meet client needs and ensure optimum utilization of resources. • Manage the Engineering budget to meet company financial goals. • Advance the engineering practice by continuously implementing best practices and refining development processes in collaboration with other delivery leaders. • Ensure a sound development discipline and execution across the full software development lifecycle. • Provide high-level technical guidance to ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions. • Occasionally contribute to billable client work as a subject matter expert. • Perform other duties as assigned that are reasonably within the scope of this position.

• Lead and develop a distributed team of DevOps engineers focused on mission-critical CICD automation • Align, guide, and empower engineers to automate and manage critical processes, optimize CICD tools usage, and integrate build/test agent provisioning systems • Establish and cultivate key relationships with other leaders across the organization • Investigate and evaluate next-generation technologies to inform future roadmap goals • Analyze project requirements and prioritize work based on urgency and criticality • Triage support tickets to ensure proper prioritization and resolution • Help resolve and unblock escalated issues affecting delivery workflows • Drive continuous improvement in software delivery processes and automation • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members
